All The World’s A Stage

And the stage is set
Even before You were given the part
On you go, upstage or downstage
It’s not important where you stand
To be in the spotlight when told is your role

You don’t know your lines
It’s of no consequence
Your part is a silent one
You are a mime act
Conveying your message via actions
Your words would be meaningless

So wait in the wings little actress
Your big scene is soon
The writer and director have plotted
The costumes are in place
The lighting set just so
Tread carefully about the stage
No props must be moved

Play your part
A dying swan
A piece of scenery
A modonna
A whore
A mother
A weeping
A pierot

End scene
